Thinking Board

Thinking Board® brings you our expertise – built into an engaging
self-assessment tool that overcomes the typical limitations of questionnaires.

Thinking Board® is intuitive, engaging, time-saving – and successful.

Thinking Board® stands far apart from other questionnaire systems.  Built on our deep experience of knowing what questions to ask, it’s interesting and thought-provoking.  But it’s the clever structure of the questions and the reporting capabilities that really help you to understand the root of any issues and to identify how things might change for the better.  To see how it works watch this short video.

  • Coverage

Thinking Board® questionnaires cover many different aspects of governance, assurance and control.

They are structured by “module” and you can select from a menu.  That way you can choose what to focus on at any point in time – and just subscribe to the modules you want to use.

Each module captures our expert knowledge of what makes governance and control effective.

  • Questionnaire structure

Our unique questionnaire structure helps respondents think through the question.  It results in better engagement and a lot more insight.

The problem with traditional questionnaire-based review is limited scope – participants find them dry and formulaic, and different people can interpret both questions and answers in different ways. All this dilutes the effectiveness of your data.

The solution? Thinking Board questionnaires have a unique structure that ensures all respondents are “on the same page”. Respondents are asked to consider “issues” before they give a score. This prompts their thinking to help make sure you get a well-considered response.

The “issues” prompt more active use of the comment box. The participant’s flagged issues help explain the score and any concerns they have; you’re not just dependent on a number.

  • Reporting

Select from a range of different reports and charts to view your data. The use of colours in straightforward graphics helps you spot the issues, and you can drill down to see the details. Use the slider to exclude the best-performing areas in order to focus on where your organisation can improve.

Here are just two examples of charts.  Automated templates combine these with comments and “flagged issues” into a word format.  Then you’re good to go.
